Currently Skyping with my brother who goes to school at University of Maryland College Park. He knows a girl at school that used to intern at the USDA office in WASHINGTON, DC and is going to set up a meeting for me when I go visit in March! :) How exciting! Isn't that awesome!
You have a good start on your blog. Some things you might consider adding to the blog is the history of the programs that are funded by the Child Nutrition Act. You also could look at research that focuses on the programs that are sponsored, such as the National School Lunch Program. That program also has a national organization that could probably provide you with some information. I think your plans for making contacts look good. You also might want to contact the School Lunch Program office for the state to see how they will be impacted by the new revised act. One more thing -- many of your entries are in March, and we have only one week of March, so in the future, you want to spread your entries and work/search for information out over each week.
